PropClarity respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our Service. By using PropClarity, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored as a bcrypt hash via Supabase Auth).
2.2 Usage Data
We collect data about how you use the Service, including properties analyzed, search queries, chat messages, and feature interactions.
2.3 Payment Information
Payment details are processed and stored by Stripe. We store only your subscription status, plan tier, and Stripe customer ID. We do not store full card numbers.
2.4 Property Data
Property addresses, analysis results, and investment metrics you generate are stored in your account and associated with your user ID.
2.5 Technical Data
We collect IP addresses, browser type, device information, and log data for security and performance monitoring purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Service, including property analysis and AI chat features.
- To manage your account, subscription, and billing.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, receipts).
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To analyze usage patterns and improve product features.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only with service providers necessary to operate PropClarity:

5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, row-level security (RLS) in our database, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analysis results and chat history are retained to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. 9. GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our lawful basis for processing your data is primarily contract performance (to provide the Service you subscribed to) and legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention).
11. Children
PropClarity is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the last updated date at the top of this page and may notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance.
